Grizzly Creek Lodge
Wilderness Adventures In Canada's Yukon

David & Reggie O'Farrell
The O'Farrells have been blessed with the opportunity to earn their living from the land since 1987. Each season has it's own rewards. Summer is their fishing season; a time to share the beauty of Grizzly Creek Lodge with a few clients. Fall finds David guiding hunters for Ceaser Lake Outfitters and winter finds both David and Reggie busy with trapping, trap-line adventures and the sports show circuit They have three children, Kayla, James and Katie.
David started working at Grizzly Creek Lodge as a guide in 1989. Doug & Carol Skanse bought the lodge the following year and hired David and his wife Reggie to manage the daily operations. They stayed on in that capacity for the next 21-years. In 2012 they were able to purchase the lodge and realized a life long dream.
With a love for everything outdoors, David & Reggie are looking forward to continuing to conduct business with an eye on sustainability and the honesty and integrity clients learned to expect from Doug & Carol.
James & Marilyn O'Farrell
James O’Farrell was born in the Yukon Territory in 1990. He was homeschooled and raised hunting, fishing, and trapping at Grizzly Creek Lodge. He married Marilyn van Delft in 2011 and makes his living as a professional guide, trapper, and medic for Yukon EMS.
Born and raised in Whitehorse Yukon, Marilyn O’Farrell grew up in the Yukon art scene. Being homeschooled allowed her to attend arts and crafts fairs with her parents, developing a love for the arts. Whether it is cooking, baking, knitting, drawing, or web design. She also has a love for nature and immerses herself in it by fishing, hiking, and plant collecting for food and natural medicines. In November 2011 Marilyn married the love of her life James O’Farrell who opened the natural world to her even more through hunting, trapping, and guiding.
